**Evenings and Weekends Only – 20-25 hours/week

Description: The Green County Family YMCA has an immediate need for a Membership Services Representative.

Expectations: The Welcome Center desk will be handled in a smooth manner. Cash receipts will be handled with a minimum of mistakes. People will be greeted in a friendly manner with the general impression that we are receptive to their needs.

Responsible for the following duties:

  • Perform member relations duties, handle complaints and inquiries.
  • Follow check-in and service procedures.
  • Follow cash management and receipting procedures.
  • Handle enrollments and payments.
  • Handle telephone reception.
  • Maintain the Service Desk in a neat, clean and well-organized fashion.
  • Arrange for facility membership tours, as well as give tours.
  • Sign up new members, complete membership paperwork.
  • Process member and staff ID cards.
  • Stock work areas with forms and stationary supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Experience in Microsoft Office products and quick ability to learn other computer programs.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, while managing competing priorities and requirements.
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to both work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Position requires a High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma.

Rate of Pay:



Early morning lifeguards needed. 3-4 weekday mornings from 5:30 - 8:30am. Will train the right person.

Concession Stand Lead 2018 (Late August-Mid October)

The position of Concession Stand Lead is a paid position. This is a seasonal position. You will be required to work Saturday's from 8:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. for a total of 7 Saturdays. (August 25th- October 13th with the exception of Sept. 2nd off) Responsibilities include: • Keeping the concession stand running on all game weekends. • Acquiring/searching out volunteers by working with coaches, division managers, board members, etc. to fill the schedule. (Volunteers do not get paid & do not need background checks.)(We will work with you to recruit volunteers) • Opening and closing the stand each day; getting the stand ready for business each day (e.g. food items prepped) • Cleaning the stand, including any cooking machines, at the end of each day; Empty Trash. • Turning in receipts for restocking supplies to the Sports Coordinator along with money from cash drawer after closing of concessions stand on Saturday's. • Shopping for any needed items and restocking concession stand prior to next weekends’ games (this may not be mandatory).
