NURTURING YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
YMCAs are one of the largest providers of child care in the United States. Access to safe and affordable child care helps parents remain in the workforce knowing their children are growing and thriving in a caring environment. The YMCA nurtures early child development by building foundational skills, fostering healthy relationships and boosting self-reliance, all in a safe and supportive environment. Our new Childcare Center will feature:
- Capacity to serve up to 86 children (6 weeks old through 4K Preschool)
- 7 state-of-the-art classrooms designed to serve specific age groups
- Direct access to a safe, licensed, outdoor play area
- Gymnastics and swimming lessons included in the curriculum for most ages

*All classrooms require a $100 non-refundable deposit.
WAITLIST PROCEDURE
If space is unavailable, your family will be added to our waitlist and will be contacted when space is available.
FREE YOUTH MEMBERSHIP
Children who are enrolled in our Childcare Program are eligible for a free youth membership. By becoming a Y member, you receive discounts on programs and priority registration for swim lessons, sports and more. The Director of Child Development will provide instructions on enrolling your child in a FREE Youth Membership or an option to upgrade to a Family Membership at a discounted rate.
PAYMENT POLICY
Payments for childcare will be processed via a weekly auto draft. On the registration form, you will be asked to provide credit card or bank account information which will be automatically charged every Monday. All fees are non-refundable. Insufficient funds may result in an additional fee. For additional billing questions, please email childcare@greencountyymca.org.
